Progressive Astrologer?

Oxymoronic?: Using a political, economic term "progressive" with
a term associated with a hobby most assume to be a pseudo-science?
* Astrologers can appreciate the overlap sets knowing that in my natal chart: that my upper octave Uranus aspects
its lower octave Mercury and that my upper octave Neptune aspects its lower octave Venus, besides my Uranus opposite
Jupiter.
* Uranus and Neptune are more concerned with humanity than with special interest. Socialism spelled with a small
"s" had democracy as a prerequisite. That's why the capitalists make such a concerted effort to provide
misinformation to associate with the word "socialism."
* Of course it didn't help that the Soviet Union etal made a total mockery of the word. Socialism spelled with
a capital "S" was used as referring to a totalitarian centralized government that had nothing to do with
democracy. After listening to a floor debate by an ignorant member of the New Mexico state legislature, it's obvious
that the misinformation doesn't cease.
* At issue at this Progressive Astrologer webpage isn't my proficiency regarding Astrology, nor
my knowldege of economics nor political science. My issue is values. In the Old Testament, the primary meaning
of the world "prophet" meant a moral teacher.
I believe that Astrologers should be advocates of social causes. To paraphrase Albert Einstein, school children
are indoctrinated into a survival-of-the-fittest competitive mindset, rather than the teamwork mindset that makes
communes and co-operatives successful.
* Us Astrologers shouldn't be whoring our services to capitalists - people who are plundering the earth and humanity
just for the immediate profit to show on their next corporate quarterly report. Your a survivor until you're dead.
Why not focus on trying to make a wholesome difference in the world?
* "Knowledge is power." The insights provided by Mundane Astrology and Electional Astrology don't need
to be served on a platter to sociopaths.
